Hair help! I got my hair dyed yesterday and now it's burgundy.?

I have natural red hair but over the years it has faded to strawberry blonde. I went to my hairdresser yesterday and told her I wanted the vibrancy and depth I used to have and I brought her a picture of what it used to look like. She put what she called drop color in. It's now a dark burgundy, I feel like a sideshow freak. Another hairdresser who was there told me that if I thought it was too dark to wash it with baking soda and that would lighten it up, it did not work. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
