Need to get out of Chicago apt. lease-24hr neighbors keep me up all night, landlord does nothing.?

I'm a single professional in my low 40's and have young punk neighbors who live above me who apparently go out and get drunk and come home at all hours and bang and slam around when they get home. They are not playing music loud, just banging and slamming everything they can and not being quiet so I don't believe I can call the police since they aren't playing loud music and such. Our landlord will do nothing about it. The landlord doesn't seem to care. I spoke to the tenants myself and they didn't care either, and then they started pounding on the floors even more despite my request that they tone it down. It's nearly a nightly occurrence, 2am, 3am, 4am, etc. I don't believe I should be forced to find a subletter when it's not my fault as I have normal hours. I've never experienced anything like this in 18 years living in Chicago. I am getting no sleep and it's affecting my job performance and I need to break the lease ASAP. HELP!
