Why cant I use an online scanner?

I've tried them all and they dont work. they say update failed. and live one care would rescan a folder over and over again.And I downloaded a few scanners but they only scanned up to 60,000 files.One scanner would say I have 20 detections while another would say I have none.whats going on with my pc?
