Why Do People Lie To Me And Say 'Oh You'l Find Sum1 When You Least Expect It'?

hi, im 28, been single 4 8yrs, ive waited and waited, never expected it, yet ppl told me 'oh my dear you'l find sum1 when you least expect it', but i neva did, and no1 ever came, so wht do i do now? everyday in those 8yrs was and still is a nightmare...should i just die?
