Is Hull universety good?

im doing my AS levels and have been told to do some research on possible uni's. i have my hears set out on doing politics or religious studies. an i really really loved The uni of Hull when i saw the brochure. i plan to go on the open day but wanted to know if the uni is any good> can anyone help?
