Give me an idea of what I may have?

I was feeling fine yesterday. Went to bed around 230 in the morning. I woke up at 3 and was extremely nauseous and throwing up. When I tried to lay back down my body felt extremely numb all over. No rashes/fevers/etc. In fact, my temperature is down about a degree and a half (98.6 to 97.2). I'm still nauseous but not quite throwing up (although it feels like I will). My brother has shingles, but I've already had chicken pox and he's taken an antibiotic for about two weeks now. Any guesses as to if this is is just a one day bug/virus or something more serious like shingles?
