Is it possible to change pickup colors?

I'm buying 3 DiMarzio pickups for my strat, and area 58, an area 61, and a super distortion. The strat is blue with a white pickguard. is it possible for me to buy the blue pickups, and if I don't like that look just buy white covers so I don't have to buy all new pickups????
