What college should I go to?

I'm determined to be a farmer. 100%, I can't picture myself doing anything else and if I can't be one I don't know what I'll do. I have a choice of 2 colleges to go to before I go to University(an agricultural one). One is an academic one where I will study Chemistry, Maths and Geography which will be useful but give me none of the practical experience I need. Two is a farming and engineering college which will give me practical experience and everything I need to get into the Agricultural Uni but no A-levels. My family tells me to get the A-levels so I can have something to fall back on in case I can't be a farmer but I can't stand to think that way. If I don't go to the Agricultural college then I cant get into the Uni and that will put an end to my dream, but my Granddad and Mum said go to the academic one then the farming one but going to the academic one seems like a waste of 2 years. What should I do?
