Wii games and stuff?

i just got my wii and love it. but which games should i get? the most fun ones...also,,, i want something that actually uses the wii capabilities like the wii sports ones do . do u kow of any? also...are their other things i can download to my wii or applications? cause when i am in the wii menu there are a lot of empty boxes...what can i fill them up with?
